Manas is born from our travels and the constant search for that feeling of arriving in a new place that immediately feels like home.
The house, built by our grandparents in the 50s, has since been a beach haven where family and friends gather to soak up the sun and the sea breeze, surf and relax.
We carefully curated the space to promote moments of connection and shared experience as well as quiet introspection.
Our signature is a minimalist design combining antique and modern pieces in a harmonious and pleasant environment that encourages you to relax, focus and create.
You can book the whole house for your group to live and work with full privacy or you can rent individual rooms and get a chance to meet other likeminded guests.
The house is equipped with every day-to-day item you may need. You will find all the essential comforts of modern life and a few extra treats.
The space is particularly well suited to small groups of 6 to 10 people who are comfortable sharing and want to (re)connect with each other and themselves.
The clean, open and luminous nature of the house makes for a peaceful retreat that promises to inspire and energize you.
On the second floor, you will find six spacious and comfortable bedrooms as well as two large bathrooms.
The rooms are carefully designed for style and comfort with spacious closets, cozy lighting and clean aesthetics.
Bed linens and bath towels are provided, and high-speed internet is accessible from every corner of the house.
Perfectly positioned in Alentejo's coast, Sines is the starting point of Rota Vicentina, a coastal path that stretches all the way South to Algarve and the pristine beaches of Santo André, Melides and Comporta to the North.
We're located 1h30 from Lisbon Airport by car and we highly recommend having your own vehicle to surf and explore the surrounding area. If you don't want to rent a car in Lisbon, there is a connecting bus and we can help you arrange local transportation.
The region has a Mediterranean climate with mild, wet winters and warm, dry summers. We feel so fortunate to have grown up in this incredible place, with year-round surfing, delicious food, and breathtaking landscapes.
This part of the Portuguese coastline features some of the least crowded surf spots in the country. Many beginner to advanced spots are within a 30 minute drive from the house. We can help you arrange equipment, classes or local guides to show you the best waves Alentejo has to offer.
Groups can request a more or less curated living experience. You'll have a wide range of organized activities and experiences at your disposal, from sampling the local gastronomy to diving into the world of ocean-based activities, to exploring the cultural offering and letting your creativity flow.
The endearing Portuguese word for sisters. Manas take good care of themselves and each other, they support and encourage you towards your goals, while celebrating your achievements and reminding you that life is too short not to enjoy it to the fullest.
